WIC Farmers Market Program

The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) is a coupon program funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program. The FMNP is supplementary to the WIC Program, which provides nutrition education and nutritious foods to pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to 5 years old. The FMNP operates annually June-October and provides coupons to WIC participants to purchase fresh, locally-grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from farmers, farmers’ markets, and farm stands.
